Terms of Service

Kite · Last updated 27 July 2026

By creating a Kite account you agree to these terms.

The service

Kite helps a parent set chores, award points, and manage screen time on a child's Android device. Features depend on device permissions the parent grants; Kite is transparent by design and never hides its icon or runs disguised.

Your responsibilities

Emergencies

Kite always keeps the phone dialer and emergency calling available. Kite is not a safety or emergency service and must not be relied on as one.

Subscriptions

Free and paid plans may be offered. When paid plans are available, billing is handled by Google Play under its terms; downgrades never disable core protection or safety limits.

No warranty & limitation of liability

Kite is provided "as is". Screen-time enforcement depends on the device and its manufacturer and may not be perfect. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Kite and delete your data at any time from within the app. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version.
